Brad Gambrell
August 2, 1984 - May 23, 2003
Michael Bradley Gambrell
With his entire life ahead of him, Brad was an outgoing and athletic high school freshman. In April, 2000 Brad was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, which he battled for over three years. Just five days before his graduation from Brookwood High School, Brad succumbed to this awful disease. Brad's battle against this illness inspired all who knew him His love for life shone through in everything he did.
Throughout this ordeal, Camp Sunshine came to be very important to Brad, affording him friendships with other young people fighting similar battles. The staff, volunteers, and programs of Camp Sunshine were invaluable to Brad and his family.
